About The Role
The selected gastroenterologist will be responsible for managing a patient load of 8-20 individuals daily, with a 24-hour call schedule from Monday noon to the following Monday. The focus will be on general gastrointestinal care for adult patients, with support from advanced practice providers.
In another capacity, the role will emphasize inpatient care, requiring no advanced procedures such as EUS or ERCP, and will be supported by a dedicated team of registered nurses, a technician, and a certified registered nurse anesthetist. Call coverage will be from Monday at 7:30 a.m. through the following Monday.
