Job Description:

The Alternative Investments Service Associate plays a critical role in the Operations & Services Group, providing exceptional customer service to Fidelity's Institutional Products Group's businesses. This dynamic team handles sophisticated products and resolves queries that come in via inbound phone calls or emails.

The Role:

This position requires attention to detail and accuracy, with a focus on processing client transactions efficiently. The associate will be responsible for monitoring adherence to internal guidelines, building and maintaining strong relationships, and providing a superior level of customer service. In addition, the associate will possess technical expertise to respond to inquiries related to transaction processing.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring:

  • 2+ years of brokerage operations experience or 5+ years related work experience preferred
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Alternative Investments experience is a major plus
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) to engage with clients and internal partners
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills and ability to prioritize decisions in a fast-moving environment
  • Ability to take initiatives to work on ad-hoc projects when required
  • Ability to work and build strong relationships across different teams within the organization
