Tact Staff is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Position Overview
  • Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit

  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks

This role requires adherence to strict attendance policies, with a maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) accepted. Any RTO must be communicated and verified at the time of submission, as requests after submission will not be accommodated.

Travelers with extensive experience (1+ years) residing within 50 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate. A three-strike policy will be enforced regarding call-offs, which may lead to contract termination after three instances.

The nurse will be responsible for caring for patients, including those with COVID-19, maintaining a patient ratio of 1:2, which may occasionally adjust to 1:3. The dress code requires traveler-provided navy blue scrubs, and familiarity with Sorian EMR is preferred.

Submission Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of current CCU experience - Required
  • At least 2 years of Tele/Step Down experience - Required
  • BSN - Preferred
  • Experience with Sorian EMR - Preferred
  • Previous travel experience of 1+ year required

Certification Requirements:

  • ACLS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)

State License Requirements:

Must possess a valid West Virginia license or a compact license at the time of submission.
