Mechanical Equipment Specialist

AGRI-Alliance is seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to maintain various types of farm equipment, including trucks, tractors, and skid steers.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, year-round position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. The successful candidate will have experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and using tools, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and inform supervisors about concerns such as faulty equipment design and unsafe working conditions
• Work with conveyors, replace belts, bearings, and other duties as assigned
• Maintain quality and quantity expectations
• Safely maintain various types of farm equipment, including trucks, tractors, and skid steers
• Test and troubleshoot machinery
• Replace and install parts as needed
• Keep equipment updated and operational when needed
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and ensure equipment operating efficiently
• Open and close work orders with appropriate documentation and details
• May be required to travel locally and work different hours based on the needs of the organization

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, and using tools
• Experience maintaining farm equipment preferred

Working Conditions

This position requires typical physical demands for farm labor, including walking, standing, reaching, stooping, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs routinely and up to 75 lbs occasionally, working indoors and outdoors in cold, hot, or wet conditions on uneven surfaces.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
