Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Bill Harris Dealerships. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data entry and review of invoices, vouchers, and payment requests
  • Posting accounts payable and receivable
  • Problem resolution of account-related issues
  • Balance statements and finalizing data
  • Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests, and issue reimbursement checks
  • Match checks to invoices/payment requests after each check run cycle
  • Enter invoices, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve payables issues with vendors
  • Prep accounts for payments and verifying data in system

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous dealership experience preferred
  • Ability to balance large volume accounts
  • Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Fast learner, open to change, and able to handle a demanding environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Professional appearance
  • Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
