We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Bill Harris Dealerships. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing and processing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of accounts payable and receivable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data entry and review of invoices, vouchers, and payment requests
- Posting accounts payable and receivable
- Problem resolution of account-related issues
- Balance statements and finalizing data
- Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests, and issue reimbursement checks
- Match checks to invoices/payment requests after each check run cycle
- Enter invoices, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve payables issues with vendors
- Prep accounts for payments and verifying data in system
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous dealership experience preferred
- Ability to balance large volume accounts
- Detail-oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Fast learner, open to change, and able to handle a demanding environment
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication and people skills – both written and verbal
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
