Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team as a School-Based Therapist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement tailored IEPs in collaboration with school teams, ensuring students receive targeted support to meet their unique needs.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to students individually or in group settings, promoting academic success and social development.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment, fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with best practices and evidence-based interventions in school-based speech-language pathology, participating in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Licensure: Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
  • Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with students, parents, and school staff.
