Job Description:

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation, a JCAHO accredited health center, provides comprehensive healthcare services to a vast area of 4,400 square miles, serving as a referral center for the western part of the Navajo and Hopi Reservations.

The hospital, constructed in 1975, has a bed capacity of 73 and offers a range of services, including emergency care, dental services, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, oral surgery, eye surgery, and urological procedures.

Approximately 49% of surgeries performed are outpatient/ambulatory surgical procedures. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality care to the community.

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is situated in Northwestern Arizona, on the Colorado Plateau, offering a unique cultural environment. The community is comprised of diverse groups, including Native American tribes, Anglo, Hispanic, and African American employees.

The medical staff includes surgeons, general medical officers, internal medicine specialists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, family practice physicians, obstetricians, ENT specialists, orthopedic surgeons, and urologists. Dental staff includes general dentists, endodontists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, pediatric dentists, dental assistants, and hygienists.

The nursing staff comprises registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, community health nurses, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, CRNA, and community health medics.

Position Summary:

Provides General MRI and MRA procedures as needed to maintain optimal patient flow.

Necessary Qualifications:
  • Must have successfully completed radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.
  • Must have and maintain a current Arizona State License in Radiology and MRI.
  • Must have and maintain a current ARRT Certification in Radiology RT(R) and MRI (MR).
  • Must have and maintain a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Experience:

Must have a minimum of three (3) years' experience in MRI procedures.

Must have experience working with a PACS/RIS system, email, and general computer programs.
