Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Specialist to join our team at Peachtree Orthopedics. In this role, you will work closely with our physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care and services. About You:
To be successful in this role, you should have a graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or MSN program, with at least two years of experience working as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, preferably in orthopedics. You should also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Medical Specialist at Peachtree Orthopedics, your key responsibilities will include:
• Providing health care services to patients under the direction and responsibility of Peachtree Orthopedics Physicians.
• Coordinating patient care, preparing and administering injections/aspirations, and obtaining specimen for laboratory and completing required forms.
• Managing patient flow, applying/removing casts, splints, braces, and performing dressing changes and removing sutures/staples.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, prescribing medications, coordinating work-in appointments, and establishing differential diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Maintaining accurate records, dictating all records of patient encounter, and providing call coverage when requested.
• Assisting in the operating room, participating in hospital rounds, and providing emergency care when needed.

Salary:
The estimated annual salary for this role is $130,000, based on experience and qualifications.
