We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our dynamic team at MedStar Southern MD Hospital. This role is essential in providing high-quality patient care in our Emergency Department.
Certification Requirements:
- Current MD or Compact License
- NIHSS, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- TNCC certification
Job Responsibilities:
The Travel Nurse will be responsible for:
- Managing high acuity patients in a fast-paced environment.
- Performing critical procedures such as intubation, cardioverting, and defibrillating.
- Titrating drips and managing ventilators.
- Conducting triage and ensuring effective patient flow.
Experience Requirements:
- Previous travel nursing experience is required.
- Pediatric experience is preferred, though limited experience may be considered.
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR is advantageous.
- Experience in emergency departments handling over 130 cases per day is preferred.
Assignment Details:
- Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
- Available Start Dates: Every other Monday

Submissions will be reviewed based on care space availability and patient ratio. Candidates must meet all certification requirements to be considered for this role.
