About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Oral Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Los Angeles Christian Health Centers. As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The Oral Healthcare Specialist will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive oral healthcare services to our patients. This includes conducting dental examinations, cleaning and scaling teeth, administering local anesthesia, prescribing medications, and performing restorations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough dental evaluations to identify patient needs
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients
  • Administer local anesthesia and perform necessary procedures
  • Prescribe medications as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate records of patient treatment plans and progress
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

  • Licensed dentist in California
  • Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
