Job Opportunity

Sportsfield Specialties, Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Installer to join our team. As a Project Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of protective padding and netting, as well as other athletic equipment, at various sports facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel extensively throughout the United States, with occasional weekend work required.
  • Utilize hands-on construction techniques to complete installations efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers, Project Managers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and manage supplemental labor as needed, as well as equipment rental based on job-specific requirements.
  • Work independently or with other Project Installers, depending on seasonal workload.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and creative problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.
  • Balance project schedules and workload to ensure timely completion and maximum profitability.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to ensure expectations are met and project sign-off is obtained.
  • Comply with applicable federal and local governing entity requirements, such as OSHA regulations.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding hands-on construction and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with construction equipment and tools, including power tools, lift operation, and welding.
  • Strong work ethic and high energy, with the ability to work independently and remain productive with minimal direction.
  • Exceptional physical conditioning, with the ability to perform demanding work for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of sports-related equipment and on-site construction expectations.
