School Groundskeeper

We are seeking a School Groundskeeper to join our team at Wooster City Schools. This role involves maintaining the grounds and facilities of our schools, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and welcoming for our students and staff.

Salary: $23.04 - $29.99 per hour (based on 12 months/year, 260 days/year)

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, training/experience as a custodian or cleaning operations, and basic computer skills.

Your responsibilities will include shoveling snow, spreading salt, and removing graffiti, as well as maintaining the exterior of our buildings, including windows, doors, and woodwork. You will also be responsible for operating equipment, such as leaf blowers and shovels, and reporting any damage or maintenance needs to the Head Custodian and Custodial Supervisor.
