Job Title: Private Duty Nurse RN

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care for patients with complex medical needs.
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, clients, family members, and staff regarding patient concerns and changes in condition.

Requirements:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required).
  • Reliable transportation.
