About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Carbon Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of making healthcare accessible to everyone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Explain procedures to patients, reducing anxieties and obtaining their cooperation.
  • Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Prepare images for reading by radiologists, ensuring accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Assist with medical assistant duties to optimize patient flow and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Attend staff and departmental meetings to stay informed and contribute to team discussions.
  • Complete training and become certified to perform urine drug screens and breath alcohol tests.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and propose solutions to enhance workflows.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
  • Three or more years of experience in healthcare leadership, with a focus on radiologic technology.
  • Current CRT certificate and CPR BLS certification.
  • Registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credentialing agency.
