Diagnostic Imaging Technologist PRN Opportunity

Alaska Regional Hospital is known for its expertise, compassion, and skills in delivering patient-centered care. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will work with our friendly radiologists assisting with various types of procedures.
Job SummaryThis role involves administering both oral and IV contrast; evaluating patients for any allergic reactions; placing correct IV for the exam being performed. You will perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures at a technical level that does not require direct supervision on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

We are looking for someone who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. In this role, you will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- BASIC CARDIAC LIFE SUPPORT CERTIFICATION WITHIN 30 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE
- REGISTERED RADIOGRAPHER (ARRT) CERTIFICATION
- REGISTERED COMPUTORIZED TOMOGRAPHY TECHNICIAN CERTIFICATION WITHIN 1 YEAR OF EMPLOYMENT START DATE
- VOCATIONAL SCHOOL GRADUATE

CompensationThe estimated salary range for this role is between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holidays, and retirement savings plan.
