Environmental Tech/Laborer Job Description

Clean Harbors Seymour, CT is seeking an Environmental Tech/Laborer to join their safety-conscious team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing tasks associated with emergency response, environmental waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Performing emergency response activities, including chemical and water spills, etiological and biological contamination, tank cleaning, and equipment decontamination.
Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's license required.
  • Experience in construction, landscape, sewer, or related field preferred but will train.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Per respirator requirements, must maintain a clean-shaven face.
