Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team of medical professionals in Chicago, IL. As a member of our team, you will provide direct patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform patient exams and evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and review of pertinent medical records and imaging
- Order and review tests and labs
- Formulate diagnosis and treatment plans
- Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and various modalities
- Manage patient care and treatments, including performing trigger point, joint, and tendon injections
- Document and maintain progress notes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
- PA/NP license in IL
- Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
- Experience with joint injections is a plus
