Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team at PSI Personnel, LLC. As a key member of our financial department, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate can expect an attractive compensation package including a salary range of $55,000-$65,000, plus comprehensive benefits such as medical, disability, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, and 9 holidays.

Key responsibilities of the Staff Accountant position include:

• Financial Record Preparation: Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
• Financial Analysis: Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations to management.
• Auditing and Compliance: Perform audits to ensure adherence to standard requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Process Improvement: Create new processes to improve financial efficiency and effectiveness.
• Reporting and Communication: Report analysis and findings to the management team.

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

• Experience in Accounting: A minimum of 3 years experience in accounting with small to mid-sized companies.
• Fundamental Knowledge of GAAP: Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Computer Skills: Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced MS Excel Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Financial Systems Experience: Experience with QuickBooks and other financial systems.
