Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Associate to join our Plant Operations Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the general operational maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the Community's physical plant.

Responsibilities
  • Perform general maintenance work, including light, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of HVAC systems and equipment
  • Replenish and maintain supply levels in work areas
  • Ensure all tools, work areas, and equipment are clean, in proper working order, and properly stored
  • Conduct daily inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to determine necessary maintenance and repairs
  • Assist in maintaining a preventative maintenance log on all mechanical systems
  • Establish and manage a preventative maintenance schedule
  • Perform other duties as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required
  • Knowledge of maintenance and housekeeping policies and procedures
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Basic familiarity with computers
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
  • Physically able to bend and reach
  • Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 60 pounds if necessary
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
