Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist/CT Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a CT Technologist/CT Technician, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic films as directed by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Identify and explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout the process.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by setting up exam rooms properly.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure the highest standards of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
  • 2-5+ years of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in CT scanning.
  • New York State License required. ARRT certification in CT, or eligible to sit for the CT registry.
  • Must complete CT Certification within 1 year of employment.
  • NYS License to Inject Intravenous Contrast Media and CPR Certificate by The American Red Cross, American Heart Association or equivalent training program.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Radiography - R.T. (R)(ARRT), Computed Tomography-RT(CT)(ARRT), Radiologic Tech Lic IV-Cert-NYS, Radiologic Tech Lic - NYS.
