POSITION SUMMARY:


The Nursing Administrative Lead plays a crucial role in supervising the activities of team members who provide both direct and indirect patient care services during assigned shifts.


This position requires accountability for ensuring safe, high-quality patient care, enhancing the patient and family experience, and delivering effective leadership that aligns with the organization's goals.


The Nursing Administrative Lead will prioritize tasks, collaborate with Charge Nurses and Department Leaders to ensure optimal staffing, and act as a resource for all facility team members in resolving operational and patient care challenges.


Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
BSN

Licenses/Certifications:
RN - Registered Nurse

Other Licenses/Certifications:
  • Professional national leadership certification or as determined by the operating unit CNO within one year after hire
  • BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an acute care environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Interpersonal skills are essential for effectively guiding and directing the work of other employees, as well as for interacting with patients, families, and physicians.

  • Knowledge of all emergency protocols, including EMR downtime and disaster plans.
  • Familiarity with policies and procedures and the ability to access them as needed.
  • Awareness of educational and supportive resources and the ability to locate appropriate materials.
