Key Responsibilities:

  • Support veterans in their transition to civilian careers
  • Provide hands-on training and assistance
  • Facilitate the enhancement or acquisition of job-related skills
  • Deliver training in diverse fields including planning, finance, and engineering
  • Receive mentorship and direction from the Program Coordinator

Essential Qualifications:

  • Discharge from military service with a disability rating of 10% or higher
  • Recent separation from military service
  • Must be a resident of Virginia

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Interest in careers related to transportation

  • Veterans and members of the Virginia National Guard are given hiring preference
