Lead Arborist Crew

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Crew Leader to join our team at STS Arborist. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of arborists in the safe and effective performance of tree care tasks.

About the Role:
  • Lead and supervise a crew in the safe and effective performance of all tree care tasks, including tree pruning, removals, and stump grinding.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts, and ropes.
  • Conduct on-site safety assessments and ensure that all crew members adhere to safety protocols.
  • Coordinate daily work schedules, assignments, and logistics to ensure efficient project completion.
Requirements:
  • Arborist crew lead experience with 3-5+ years arboriculture experience, and at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of tree care practices, safety standards (ANSI Z133) and the use of tree care equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with insurable record, CDL is a plus.
  • ISA certification or ability to acquire within 6 months.
  • Team player with positive can-do attitude.
