Hospital Kitchen Specialist

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Dining Services Coordinator to join our team at St. Luke's University Health Network. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet the dietary needs of our patients, staff, and visitors.
- Supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and meal production.
- Collaborate with dietary team to develop and implement new menu ideas and specials.
- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and storage of ingredients and equipment.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with previous cooking experience and supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and procedures.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Other benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
