Our range of services includes emergency care, cardiac care, women's services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic, and a Minimally Invasive Surgery Center. Job Description

This Registered Nurse Acute Care Medical opening requires a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
  • Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A current Registered Nursing License in the state of Texas or a Compact state.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science (Preferred).
  • An Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing (Required).
  • Medical/Surgical Nursing experience (Preferred).
  • Medical Surgical ANCC Certification (Preferred).
  • The ability to read and write basic English (Required).
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency (Required).
