Job Requirements:

At MSA Professional Services Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Civil Engineering Technician to join our team. As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting our engineers and designers by performing project tasks such as CAD drafting, plan set development, detailing, code reviews, submittal review, construction services, site observations, survey and staking, and other field work as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform project tasks such as CAD drafting, plan set development, detailing, code reviews, submittal review, construction services, site observations, survey and staking, and other field work as necessary.
• Support engineers and designers in the development of project plans and specifications.
• Conduct site observations and surveys to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related degree preferred.
• 1 or more years of experience including design, construction inspection, and testing of transportation, municipal sewer, and water projects is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Prior experience with Civil 3D preferred.
