Our Requirements:
UMortgage seeks an enthusiastic, dynamic, and engaging leader to coach and direct our expanding Production team. As the Production Manager, you will guide, mentor, and inspire our team of Loan Originators, serving as the main representative of our leadership team for sales objectives and initiatives. We are not merely searching for a salesperson; we need someone who can leverage their skills, mortgage knowledge, and industry experience to significantly contribute to our team's growth and achievements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Embrace and exemplify our company's core values and customer-centric model to deliver outstanding service and lead our Production team.
  • Provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement within the production team.
  • Support branches and remote loan originators by coaching team members to ensure exceptional service and initiative throughout the loan process.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, builders, and other stakeholders involved in the mortgage process.
  • Lead the development and growth of current and future origination team members.
  • Oversee the creation of new campaigns and the expansion of existing business relationships.
  • Collaborate with our leadership team to report on sales objectives and initiatives, directly influencing business decisions.
  • Communicate with internal teams to streamline the loan process and continuously enhance customer experience.
  • Develop training programs and materials to ensure ongoing growth and development of team members.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and production metrics to assess team and individual performance.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the loan process through performance management, feedback, and process enhancements.
  • Stay informed about market rates, mortgage products, and trends to better assist our customers.
  • Conduct audits for themes and delays related to lender or loan type.
  • Manage the pipeline and track leads.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for agents and customers.
  • Collect necessary documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of experience in mortgage operations (Processing or Underwriting experience preferred).
  • 2-3+ years of experience in a management or leadership role is ideal.
  • NMLS license is a plus.
  • Previous brokerage experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coach, lead, and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of the complete mortgage loan process, from application to closing.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Salesforce, LOS, and POS.
  • Exceptional customer service, listening, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Accountability, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Capability to multitask, inspire others, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
