Our client, a leading employee-owned general contractor and construction management company, is seeking an EH&S Manager to join their team in Columbus, OH. This is a confidential data center project with an estimated completion time of over 2 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate pre-construction review and planning activities to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and review Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) documents to identify potential hazards.
  • Effectively communicate with all personnel on the jobsite to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Actively identify potential hazards and notify responsible parties when immediate corrective actions are required.
  • Administer a progressive disciplinary program to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Perform basic computer operations to support EH&S management tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5+ years of construction site safety management experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • Recognized Safety Professional Certification (e.g., BCSP, CSP, CHST, ASP, GSP).
  • CPR, AED, and First Aid Certification.
  • Experience working on large projects with budgets over $10M.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OSHA 500 or 501 certification.
  • First Aid/CPR trainer experience.
  • Spanish speaking ability.
