Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Unavailable. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic radiological procedures, adhering to radiation safety policies and procedures.
  • Log completed patients in the hospital information system and send image series to radiologists for interpretation.
  • Provide humane and appropriate care to patients, explaining procedures and positioning them for examinations.
  • Process digital images and document procedures, maintaining records in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Assist in coordinating schedules, daily logs, and data submission for monthly reports.
  • Perform Acute Care diagnostic studies and procedures, including extremities, chest, abdomen, and head.
  • Research and develop new techniques for routine diagnostic procedures.
  • Perform system calibrations and quality control tasks, recognizing artifacts and equipment errors.
  • Initiate repair call procedures for equipment malfunctions and report problems to designated personnel.
  • Observe and report symptoms related to adverse reactions to contrast media and institute emergency measures as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Experience: Possess one (1) year full-time experience as a diagnostic radiologic technologist within the preceding two (2) years, to include experience with digital imaging.
  • Licensure: Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • Life Support Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Security: Must be able to pass a Government background check and obtain a Government security clearance.
