Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Portfolio Management Analyst & Trader to join our team at Verus. The successful candidate will have a strong background in trading and/or investment portfolio analytics, with a minimum of two years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Model multi-asset class portfolios and build custom analyses as needed.
  • Support the portfolio management team in the ongoing management of client portfolios.
  • Have significant ownership of the monthly rebalancing process across most client portfolios.
  • Partner with operations to effectively communicate with custodians, brokers, asset managers, and fund companies to ensure timely transactions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Modeling: Build, maintain, improve, and conduct portfolio modeling in support of the portfolio management team's investment decision-making processes.
  • Process Improvement: Consistently work to make portfolio management processes and tools more efficient and scalable, identifying possible efficiencies and building solutions to eliminate them.
  • Trading: Serve as a lead trader on assigned client accounts, ensuring flawless portfolio management and trading with zero failures impacting clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • CFA charter holder (or progression towards achieving the designation).
  • Strong technical capabilities and exceptional attention to detail.
