This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a reputable healthcare organization in the North Austin/Cedar Park area.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in magnetic resonance imaging and a strong understanding of MRI physics and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct MRI scans on patients, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Verify patient identity and ensure accurate patient information.
  • Assess patient needs and respond to their concerns throughout the scanning process.
  • Operate MRI equipment, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient scanning processes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of a formal diagnostic radiology program.
  • MR-ARRT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • R-ARRT certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • CMRT certification from the Texas Medical Board.
  • At least 3 years of experience in MRI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric experience.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
