Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts thorough all-source intelligence evaluations on matters pertinent to national security, including but not limited to, border control, counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
  • Facilitates collection research, analysis, and strategic recommendations concerning collaboration with operational and support entities, external intelligence organizations, and federal law enforcement to enhance cooperation and information sharing for improved product development.
  • Develops comprehensive analytic reports, assessments, briefings, and various written or verbal presentations on current threats and trends, utilizing sophisticated collection, research, and analytic methodologies across classified and unclassified information sources.
  • Identifies deficiencies in available intelligence data and collaborates with collection managers to devise strategies that fulfill intelligence needs through various collection disciplines.
  • Applies Intelligence Community analytic standards, methodologies, and specialized expertise to generate assessments of contemporary threats and trends for a diverse audience, from senior officials to local and private sector stakeholders.
  • Engages with analysts across the Intelligence Community, law enforcement, and other agencies to produce collaborative products, participate in working groups, and enhance information sharing initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of experience in the field of All-Source Intelligence Analysis.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and analytical processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective writing for diverse audiences and perspectives.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining partnerships with external law enforcement and intelligence community stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience as an all-source analyst within an Intelligence Community agency, producing comprehensive analytical intelligence outputs adhering to established standards and requirements.
  • Experience in coordinating all-source analytical assessments with various agencies across the Intelligence Community.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Intelligence Community analytic systems and tools, such as classified message databases, Analyst Notebook/i2, Web Intelligence Search Engine (WISE), or Palantir.
  • Strong organizational skills, process orientation, teamwork capability, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with government and industry personnel at all levels.
  • Competence in Business Intelligence, Process Improvement, Collection Management, and Intelligence Planning.
  • Experience in assessing data relevance to support specific investigations, analyzing performance and sensitivity of analyses, and projecting necessary refinements for optimal results.
Preferred Skills:
  • At least four years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis at the national level.
  • Prior experience with operational data analysis, preferably within a National Targeting Center.
  • Specific expertise in intelligence production related to counterterrorism, counter-narcotics, counterintelligence, illicit trade, and alien smuggling.
  • Experience in a liaison role with other components of Customs and Border Protection or related agencies, providing guidance on national and international intelligence programs and policies.
  • Prior involvement in project or program management, including reviewing relevant legislation, regulations, or policy changes on behalf of government entities.
  • Experience in developing and disseminating intelligence alerts, reports, or threat bulletins to support operational initiatives.
  • Familiarity with unique Department of Homeland Security systems and databases.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with research and reporting tools, including TAC, Next Gen Trident, Lucky Search Service, PULSE, HOTR/CHROME, Harmony, BI2R, and QLIX.
  • Clearance: TS/SCI and the ability to obtain and maintain suitability with the Department of Homeland Security Customs and Border Protection.
Security Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship with the capability to obtain TS-SCI clearance.
  • Selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain suitability with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain stationary for approximately 50% of the time.
  • Occasional movement within the office is required to access files and office equipment.
  • Constant operation of a computer and other office productivity machinery is necessary.
  • Frequent communication with colleagues, management, and clients, which may involve delivering presentations and exchanging accurate information.
