Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team and contribute to the success of our Clinical Advancement Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to assigned patients, working within the nursing process to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in the Clinical Advancement Program, working towards one of five CAP levels that offer increasing compensation.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and document individualized care plans, incorporating age-specific considerations.
  • Administer medication, including IV medication, via the Seven Rights, and document and communicate clinical findings.
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained.
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting and evaluation responsibilities of new personnel.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Program Graduate, Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate, CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days, RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM.
  • Nonessential: Bachelor's Degree, Bilingual English/Spanish, Nationally Certified in area of specialty, PALS, TNCC and/or ENPC.

Working Conditions:

  • Essential: Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE.
