Security Officer

At MSCCN, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Paragon Casino Resort. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.

• Generate written reports regarding security-related incidents
• Escort and observe guests and employees to ensure their safety and protection
• Identify potential safety hazards and report them to the appropriate individual
• Act as a dispatcher during emergency situations and coordinate solutions
• Operate company vehicles as directed
• Maintain a working knowledge of Paragon Casino Resort's facilities and special events
• Ensure safe transportation of company moneys and gaming tokens
• Interact with guests and employees in a positive and professional manner
• Facilitate the flow of information throughout the department
• Maintain or escort a series of keys and access locked areas as necessary
• Accept identification from guests under the age of 30 to ensure compliance with state and federal gaming regulations

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in law enforcement or gaming security preferred
• Excellent communication skills required
• Must test and receive a passing score on preemployment testing
• Must apply for, be granted, and retain a valid Tribal Gaming License and State Gaming Certification during employment
