Job Summary

Baker Roofing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Superintendent to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our roofing crew, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and train roofing crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects safely and efficiently.
  • Plan and coordinate roofing projects, including scheduling, material ordering, and labor allocation.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project progress, including time sheets, material inventory, and quality control reports.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in roofing construction, with a focus on supervisory or management roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
