POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Assistant Manager, you will drive revenue growth and uphold company standards of excellence during your designated shift by overseeing the flow of food service operations, delegating responsibilities, managing cash control, and prioritizing the delivery of top-notch food alongside exceptional hospitality.

Your role will also be pivotal in mentoring Team Members under the guidance of the General Manager, supporting the General Manager, and assisting in the overall management of operations while fostering the development and retention of Team Members.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing Team Members and Shift Leaders, ensuring the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness with a consistent focus on profitability.
  • Coordinating training sessions with team trainers.
  • Fostering a collaborative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members.
  • Addressing HR matters as they arise, including disciplinary actions.
  • Leading team meetings as necessary to discuss operations, procedures, and promotions.
  • Conducting weekly inventory assessments.
  • Managing payroll to align with company labor cost standards.
  • Controlling inventory to meet company GAP standards.
  • Assisting the management team and General Manager in operational decisions.
  • Maintaining reports and records in accordance with company standards and in full compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Ensuring the building and equipment are maintained through proper operating, cleaning, and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Taking responsibility for cash handling for all shifts, including bank deposits and ensuring adherence to cash procedures.
  • Enforcing all sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Upholding personal appearance to meet company standards and displaying professionalism.
  • Recognizing and adhering to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to provide a safe and compliant environment for all.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capacity to work in high-temperature environments.
  • Comfort working in close quarters with others.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably.
  • Experience working with various cleaning agents.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including both opening and closing shifts.
  • Reliable transportation and communication method with the restaurant.
