  • Administer treatment programs and communicate treatment needs to staff, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective care.
  • Provide re-evaluation, programmatic changes, and effectively manage a caseload, prioritizing the needs of individuals served.
  • Set up appropriate home exercise programs for individuals served and perform home evaluations, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including reports of services and weekly schedules, to meet therapy goals and ensure compliance.
  • Serve on the rehabilitation treatment team, participating in meetings, conferences, and departmental meetings to enhance program development and operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, professionals, paraprofessionals, consultants, families, and community resources to ensure the effectiveness of the occupational therapy program.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and one year of human services experience.
  • One year of experience in Neuro-rehabilitation is preferred.
  • Must be licensed OT/L in the state and a member in good standing with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
  • Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
  • Effective communication skills and a reliable, responsible attitude.
