Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology Hospitalist
We are currently seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role involves providing comprehensive coverage with a focus on high-quality patient care and collaboration with fellow medical professionals.
- Provide coverage for a series of 11-day shifts each month, ensuring continuity of care for patients.
- Collaborate with an additional Gastroenterologist, focusing on ERCP procedures while managing a moderate volume of cases.
- Engage in both inpatient and outpatient care, with an emphasis on consults and follow-ups.
- Participate in a structured credentialing process, including virtual training and EMR orientation.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Gastroenterology.
- Proficiency in ERCP procedures is preferred, while EUS skills are not mandatory.
- Availability to commit to at least one week of coverage per month.
Work Environment:
- Join a supportive team with internal medicine physicians and residents assisting during your tenure.
- Expect a balanced workload with an average of 3-4 consults daily and designated time for endoscopic procedures.
- Enjoy a collaborative atmosphere with minimal after-hours callbacks, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
