Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor Anthropology to join our team at HCC. As an Adjunct Instructor, you will play a vital role in advancing our institution's proud tradition of excellence in academics, student life, and community service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Demonstrate expertise in teaching Anthropology and develop innovative methodologies to engage students.
  • Academic Advising: Provide guidance and support to students, maintaining professional relationships and promoting student success.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with developments in the field, applying technologies to support student learning and participating in the evaluation process.
  • Institutional and Community Service: Participate in institutional service activities, discipline committee meetings, and departmental initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's degree in Anthropology with at least 18 graduate hours in the field.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of college-level teaching experience and five to ten years of related work experience.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and knowledge of computer software, including Blackboard Vista.
