Formulation Scientist

Job Summary:

Apex Systems is seeking a highly skilled Formulation Scientist to join our biotechnology client in the Greater St. Louis Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and documenting regulatory/GLP requirements and collaborating with the production team to ensure processes are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure production compliance with regulatory/GLP requirements and maintain required documentation.
• Collaborate with management to ensure detailed experimental procedures and reports meet applicable regulatory needs.
• Work with the team to ensure assay performance aligns with customer needs.
• Demonstrate passion for problem-solving and innovative thinking.
• Provide strong technical expertise in qPCR assay design and optimization.
• Preferably, have experience in clinical product development under Design Control.
• Exhibit strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
• Be highly collaborative, enjoy working in a diverse team, and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of proven experience in academic or industry settings.
