We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Resort Ambassador to join our team at Sundance Mountain Resort. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that our guests have a seamless and transformational stay with us.
Key Responsibilities- Warmly greet and thank each guest, providing a professional presence at the Concierge Desk.
- Inform guests of all Sundance services and facilities available, including programming and special events.
- Share the Sundance story of land preservation and environmental commitment as opportunities arise.
- Arrange resort activities for in-house guests, such as fly fishing, spa experiences, hiking, mountain biking, dining reservations, and art classes.
- Create guest profiles in our operating system and facilitate pre-arrival calls and emails to guide lodging guests in creating their Sundance experience.
- Inform guests of all Sundance services, facilities, and programming/special events available during their stay.
- Arrange transportation for guests, including coordinating shuttle arrivals and departures with the transportation company.
- Organize confirmation emails regarding reservations and create itineraries for lodging guests.
- Advise on area activities, including Park City and Salt Lake City.
- Accurately bill guests for transportation, grocery pick-up, amenities, etc.
- Coordinate ordering and delivering of amenities to rooms for guests and handwrite welcome cards for amenities.
- Assist the Front Desk with arriving and departing guests and advise on area activities.
- Proactively obtain, maintain, and distribute an inclusive knowledge of all resort amenities, activities, and programming.
- Exhibit exceptional resort knowledge and guest service skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills in-person and over the phone.
- Offer creative solutions and proposals for guests within Sundance parameters and effectively execute multiple tasks and competing deadlines with fluctuating business levels.
- Adapt in an ever-changing and progressive workplace and consistently and accurately perform job duties in compliance with policies and procedures and to the Sundance standard.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and follow-through.

- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Spreadsheets, internet navigation, email, Stay N Touch, Fareharbor, and Tock. Able to use 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
