Position Overview:

CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Full Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our esteemed Anesthesia Department at CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System. Our team is dedicated to providing a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside both CRNAs and MDAs.

Case Mix:

Experience a diverse range of cases including trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, urology, gynecology, robotics, pediatrics, electrophysiology, gastrointestinal procedures, and optional obstetrics for those proficient in epidural and spinal anesthesia. Note that there are no heart or transplant cases involved.

Technology and Equipment:

Utilize state-of-the-art anesthesia technology, including Digital Mindray Anesthesia Machines, Syringe Pumps, GlideScopes, and computerized EPIC charting systems.

Scheduling Flexibility:

We offer flexible scheduling options with the possibility of 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts. Additional 16 and 24-hour shifts may be available once you are acclimated to the system. Opportunities for premium pay during weekdays and weekends are also offered.

This is a W-2 position at a level 3 trauma center.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Attractive salary with potential for additional earnings; New Graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Guaranteed 40 hours of weekly pay.
  • Premium pay rate of $150/hour for any hours exceeding 40 in a work week.
  • Shift differentials for evening, night, and weekend shifts.
  • Holiday pay at 1.5 times the regular rate.
