Job Summary:

This position requires the candidate to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with patients, licensed independent practitioners, and referring physicians. The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will work independently to perform screening and diagnostic imaging exams, adhering to institutional policies and/or practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality imaging exams, including mammography, to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and institutional policies.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal imaging performance and patient safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies, techniques, and best practices to provide exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Meet the guidelines associated with initial mammography training and maintain modality-specific continuing education credits.
  • ARRT Registration in mammography (preferred).
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of one year previous experience in a clinical setting.
