Key Responsibilities
  • Healthcare Operations Management
    • Oversee all aspects of the Health & Wellness department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective healthcare operations strategies to improve resident care and satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of Health and Wellness Directors, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure their success.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of the Health and Wellness Directors.
  • Resident Care and Services
    • Ensure that resident care needs are met and maintained according to physician orders, state regulations, and company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement effective resident care plans, ensuring that residents receive high-quality care and services.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure that the Health & Wellness department is in compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
    • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure that resident care and services meet high standards.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current NJ nursing license (RN) in good standing.
    • Five (5) or more years' experience in a supervisory role in senior living, assisted living, long-term care, or skilled care.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex healthcare issues.
