Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all Electrical Engineering and design personnel within the assigned project team.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, governing codes, and best engineering practices by monitoring all engineering, design, 3D CAD, and CAD drafting activities.
  • Develop comprehensive proposals, conceptual designs, and conduct trade studies for various projects.
  • Prepare and present technical aspects of projects during both internal and external design reviews.
  • Facilitate effective coordination with other disciplines to ensure project success.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members within the project discipline.
  • Implement methods and procedures aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the discipline.
  • Ensure that all team members are well-versed in the latest rules and requirements.
  • Review, check, and approve all engineering deliverables produced by the discipline.
  • Adhere to established design engineering procedures throughout the engineering process.
  • Evaluate and respond to subcontractor design submissions.
  • Assist project management with tracking and analyzing schedules, budgets, and scopes.
  • Commit to meeting project schedules within the allocated budgeted hours.
  • Make informed decisions regarding manpower, staffing, and scheduling for the electrical team.
  • Engage in necessary meetings with clients, representing the company effectively during project phases.
  • Develop and maintain budgets for effort-hours, manpower requirements, and project timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

Technical Skills:
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of hands-on experience in the design and supervision of electrical power systems, particularly in Low Voltage and MV (400V to 34.5kV) power distribution systems.
  • Strong design experience in large industrial, infrastructure, and building services projects.
  • Thorough understanding of engineering techniques, design calculations, specifications, and drawing requirements.
  • Proficient in the design of power distribution, emergency power systems, grounding, load tabulation, and analysis techniques, as well as indoor and outdoor lighting design.
  • In-depth knowledge of international industry codes, regulatory standards, and design criteria relevant to electrical engineering.
  • Familiarity with standard software applications such as ETAP or equivalents for power system studies.
  • Basic understanding of HV (115kV to 230kV) equipment and designs.
  • Experience with BIM / Digital Twin design processes.
  • Experience working in diverse international locations.
