Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their full potential through individualized therapy and collaborative efforts with educators, parents, and other specialists.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on speech and language goals and progress.
- Stay up-to-date with current best practices, research, and technology in the field of speech-language pathology.
- Adhere to all school policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Educational Specialist certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, child abuse clearance, and FBI fingerprinting.
- Compliance with continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and certification.
- Current CPR certification is preferred.
- Work is performed in a school environment.
- Must be able to manage a caseload of students with varying needs.
- Occasional lifting of materials and equipment up to 25 pounds may be required.
