About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are followed at all times, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Provide direct and indirect supervision of Radiologic Technology students, promoting their growth and development.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, contributing to the enhancement of our imaging services.
  • Work collaboratively with experienced team members, Interventional Cardiologists, Electrophysiologists, and Vascular Surgeons in a hospital setting.
Requirements
  • High School graduate.
  • Prefer BS or MS in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Five years of radiologic/imaging experience, with a preference for specific experience and training in a diagnostic supervisory role.
  • Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensed by the state of Maine to practice and administer radiation.
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
