Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our team at Penn Foster Group. As a Software Developer, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our next-generation educational platforms.


This full-stack role involves working with technologies in a Microsoft environment, including Azure Cloud, C#, .NET, and React. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver software that enhances the learning experience for thousands of users. This position is fully remote.


Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET, and React.
Work with Azure Cloud services like web apps, function apps, and databases to create seamless solutions.
Collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop innovative features that enhance the student learning experience.
Implement DevOps best practices using Azure DevOps and GitHub for CI and deployment.
Contribute to code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge across the team.
Troubleshoot issues across the full stack and work on fixes in a timely manner.
Enhance your skills by working on various parts of the development process and taking ownership of smaller projects.
Ensure application performance, security, and scalability through best practices and continuous improvement.
Work with Jira to track your tasks and collaborate with the product team.


Requirements:
2-4+ years of experience in software development.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in C#, .NET, and React.
Experience with Azure Cloud services and resources.
Strong understanding of full-stack development and best practices.
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Jira.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
