Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to a rapidly expanding startup focused on enhancing our data processing capabilities and accelerating the delivery of innovative features to the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- NLP Algorithm Design: Spearhead the creation and execution of cutting-edge NLP algorithms, emphasizing information extraction, entity resolution, and disambiguation.
- Model Development: Build and refine large language models for diverse NLP applications, ensuring optimal performance in terms of accuracy and scalability.
- Data Preparation: Collaborate with data engineering teams to preprocess and create features from extensive datasets, boosting the effectiveness of machine learning models.
- Entity Management: Lead initiatives to tackle challenges in entity resolution and disambiguation, guaranteeing precise identification of entities in unstructured text.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to seamlessly integrate machine learning models into comprehensive solutions.
- Research Contributions: Stay updated on the latest trends in NLP and machine learning, contributing to research efforts that enhance our technological framework.
- Mentorship: Conduct code reviews to uphold code quality and mentor junior team members in machine learning practices.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in machine learning, particularly in NLP.
- Demonstrated expertise in information extraction, entity resolution, and disambiguation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and relevant machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
- Experience with deep learning models, especially in the context of NLP.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in computer science or a related field.
- Experience in training and deploying large language models.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of modern ML Ops tools such as Modal, Weights and Biases, Sagemaker, etc.
