Essential Qualifications for the HVAC Project Technician:
1. In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, installation methodologies, and sheet metal techniques.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sheet metal work and the installation of commercial HVAC systems.
3. A valid driver's license is mandatory.
4. Candidates should have no more than three positions held in the past decade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficient Journeyman HVAC Installation Technician with a specialization in sheet metal tasks, adept at managing equipment replacement projects.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal work and commercial HVAC installations is crucial.
- Possession of a sheet metal license or equivalent qualifications is preferred.
- Field experience with sheet metal, including fabrication skills, is essential.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production diagrams is necessary.
- A comprehensive understanding of the commercial and industrial HVAC landscape is expected.
- Competence in executing equipment replacement duties.
- Skills in brazing copper pipes, gas piping installation, and other HVAC-related tasks are beneficial but not required.
- A willingness to learn and acquire additional trade skills is essential.
- Team-oriented attitude, with readiness to collaborate and assist colleagues, including working overtime, nights, and weekends.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record, pass a criminal background check, and comply with pre-employment and random drug testing.
Additional Requirements:
- This is a fully in-office position.
- No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp arrangements.
